My name is Al Powell and I am a Chicago-based photographer that specializes in live music and nature landscapes.

From the moment I first picked up a film camera in college, I have been inclined to capture awe-inspiring experiences and portray their beauty through the lens that I see the world. Whether it’s attending a music festival, hiking out West, or exploring urban landscapes across the world, I aim to bring these moments to life with my photography and inspire the community around me to dive into the divinity that is at play around them.

I am currently shooting with the Fuji-film XT3 and specialize in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop when it comes to editing and special effects.
